On 21 October 2025, oloBion participated in Alibetopías in Madrid, the annual innovation forum organized by FIAB (the Spanish Federation of Food and Beverage Industries), a key meeting point for leaders shaping the future of Spain’s agri-food sector.
Alibetopías brings together industry executives, technology providers, researchers, and institutional stakeholders to exchange knowledge and accelerate innovation across food systems. This year’s edition once again served as a strategic platform to discuss sustainability, competitiveness, and science-driven transformation in the food and beverage industry.
Showcasing oloMAP®: making omics actionable for industry
At our stand, we showcased practical applications of advanced omics technologies for the agri-food sector, with a particular focus on oloMAP®, our proprietary platform for the visualization, integration, and interpretation of complex multi-omics datasets.
Through live demonstrations and direct conversations with industry professionals, we showed how oloMAP®:
- simplifies the interpretation of omics data for non-specialist users,
- supports ingredient characterization and valorization, and
- enables evidence-based decision-making in product development and innovation processes.
By translating complex analytical outputs into biologically meaningful insights, we highlighted how omics can become a powerful enabler for addressing real industry challenges related to sustainability, nutrition, and competitiveness. Hands-on demonstrations of tools like oloMAP® also help reduce adoption barriers and increase interest from companies seeking actionable, data-driven innovation.
Strengthening the NUTRIALITEC ecosystem
Alibetopías also provided an excellent setting to strengthen the visibility of the NUTRIALITEC ecosystem. As part of the consortium’s collective communication strategy, NUTRIALITEC combined:
- Institutional representation, with the Director General of CTNC participating in a sector roundtable discussion and highlighting the role of R&D, advanced analytics, and collaborative innovation in tackling industry challenges; and
- Technical, demonstrative presence, with oloBion contributing a dedicated stand within the exhibition area.
This dual approach enabled the ecosystem to communicate both its strategic vision and its technological capabilities in a coherent and high-impact way.
